DESMOND Newly Diagnosed module available (for patients up to 12 months post diagnosis)
Patients who attend our courses usually find them interesting and worthwhile and come away feeling positive about managing their diabetes.
'Good idea. Learning more than I already did and giving me new ideas'
'I appreciated the time and effort put into this programme and hope that everyone will benefit as I hope to.'
'Very good for partners/family.'
Please note that patients must be referred to us within six months of diagnosis.
You can expect to receive information from us within one month from referral. You will then be able to phone us and book a place on a course starting in two to four weeks time. (We normally run one or two courses a month.)
