What does it mean to become a DESMOND Provider?
Becoming a licensed DESMOND provider comes with many advantages, not only will you have access to our wide range of products and programmes, but also to all of our support streams each designed to provide you, your staff and your Educators with the most up-to-date advice and guidance for getting the most out of becoming a licensed DESMOND provider.
If you would like a quotation or discuss how to become an licensee please email us on desmondnationalprogramme@uhl-tr.nhs.uk. We will then organise for an online call to discuss your needs and to design a personalised quotation for your organisation. Once you are given the green light to procees, we will draft the relevant paperwork for consideration. Following the signing of this, you will be assigned an Account Manager who will ensure you have everything you need to make the best success of your new service.

Academy
The DESMOND Academy launched in July 2020 as a new innovative way of support existing Educators and Provider organisation alike. Through the DESMOND Academy we now offer a wide range of virtual workshops including building and maintaining Educators confidence to deliver, MyDESMOND administration and reporting and monthly Questions and Answer sessions.
Embed
Designed to guide and support DESMOND Providers to successfully embed their diabetes education of choice into routine care. Based on a toolkit developed by the Leicester Diabetes Centre in a national trial, we are now -proud to be able to offer a DESMOND-specific toolkit through the DESMOND Embed portal.
Evaluate
We can help and support you and your organisations to gather and evaluate feedback from your participants through the DESMOND Evaluate initiative. Additionally, through DESMOND Evaluate we continue to gather feedback to help inform our future changes including from our Educator training, Academy workshops, ad from Providers and Educators when we launch new initiatives.
audit
With our DESMOND Audit workstream we aim to continue to identify trends and differences in outcomes of those attending groups or using our digital products. We run a range of audits to gather as much information as we can from those Providers that are able to take part to help give us a clearer understanding of what is happening with the DESMOND programmes outside of research being delivered in the real-world.
